It's been who knows how many cow years since I've blogged.

Every trip back to nanhua always brings so much warmth, happiness, and spirit amidst the dull, saddening, and spirit-less life in nj. People say that secondary school life is the most fulfilling and memorable. Indeed. Being in nj now made me appreciate nanhua more, and want to treasure those memories, and cherish those people who created those memories.

Today, I suppose, is the best day of this school term.

Midnight, papa and I went to the airport to welcome mummy back from US. The entire week without mummy around was rather terrible. :) that she's back!
Reached home at around 2.30am. Stayed up till 4.30am cos I couldn't sleep.

Morning, went to nanhua for band investiture. To be frank, I was disappointed with poor organisation of the band. Probably the leaders were not assertive enough. BUT, that's not the main point. Kat was there and I had good time catching up with her:D Not many seniors turned up and I was surprised that no one from my batch came..

Well, at least I did manage to spend some time with the trumpet section and the alumni who were there. We even took a section photo of... 7 batches? (2007-2013) :D!! I wonder if the section still continues with the tradition of getting the boys, yes boys, to do mermaid pose for section photo on handover day.. Unfortunately, taoyang wasn't there - he left for a brass festival - and we don't have any sec 1 guy junior this year..

Left before lunch and went to lot 1 to shop for gifts for agm. I met a kind cashier-cum-saleslady who gave me a 75cents discount cause I ran out of cash to pay for my stuff. Thanks a million! Was it cause I got that student under FA de look! Anyway, that encounter really made my day. She doesn't gain anything from giving me the discount yet she told me that I didn't have to pay without hesistation. I was soooo touched and thankful. At that moment, I thought she was really going to scream at me but she didn't. Thank god for allowing me to meet such a kind soul today :)

Came back home to finish up reading integration. I havent touched integration for almost 6 months and when I attempted some of the revision package questions, I can't seem to do those questions D: Calculus +trigo is definitely the most deathly combination..

June holidays are coming! But this marks the start of the most hellish period of school life. Soon after CTs will be prelims then a levels. I got to work much harder to achieve what I desire! I must cos I will and I can.

Most of the things have been cleared.

SSEF's over. I got a silver which was rather unexpected. Was glad that the judges thought highly of me :D Thanks so much to Evelyn, the CN Yang scholar I was attached to, and Prof Yang, Evelyn's mentor, for all the help in my research. I do hope to contribute to the research scene someday!

Etude34's over. It was a good and successful concert. At least all the stress is over! :DD

Theory's over too! Still awaiting for results. (Fingers crossed)

And now I'm left with CIP matters, grade8 practical exam, and a levels. Oh well.. all the best! and study hard guekleng!
