Day #1 of school after prelims was downright boring! we were down for a series of JC poly talks from 0830 - 1230. upon returning to class, i stoned and then rested till 1400 when mr a tan came in. he taught something and launched into a "story-telling" session, talking about bankruptcy and the economy, sharing some of his thoughts about the economy today and some years down the road and advising us to be mentally and perhaps financially prepared for the next market crash (which he estimated to be at around 2012). Everything just sounds so scary and unimaginable. Worst of all, we will be only 20 years old by 2012.

that's probably the most interesting part of the day. so pathetic! out of the 6 h spent in school, only the last 10 min was something meaningful. dread. tml would most likely be the same as today. there will be talks by NJC and NP from the morning to the afternoon. it's not that i dont appreciate the teachers' efforts in getting these JCs and Polys to give a talk on their respective school lifes but certainly, it can be more well arranged and the time allocation and planning can be improved. once the talks end early, we will just stone in the hall until our reccesses. what a waste of time. i just think that time could have been more usefully spent on going through the prelim papers. hais. so nothing much to anticipate duh. SIAN!!!!!!
