YES! IM BACK FROM ICESKATING!

It had been donkey years since i've ice-skated but somehow and miraculously, it seemed that i still managed to revive my ice-skating skills upon entering the rink. i love it when the cold 'wind' just blows gently against my skin when i skated fast.

Besides, i was completely mesmerised by these two young ice-skaters(siblings) whom i remembered watching them in a documentary on channel newasia. They were attending their daily training i suppose and what i enjoyed most was their duo performance. It's so beautiful that most of the ice-skaters (of the public) stood at the periphery of the rink, leaving the central part for them to practise and after their practice, some people were like clapping and i was one of them -.-

so graceful, beautiful and remarkable! (i just stared in admiration)

After hours of ice-skating, my thighs and ankles ache now. Undoubtedly, it has been a great workout today.

Oh yes, before i deviate further away from the current topic, i have to update about midyears as i have mentioned in the previous post.

English
I've done a mess out of paper1 and as for paper2, im pretty positive that i could attain a pass. Anyway, so long there is an improvement made from the previous practice papers and tests, i would be over the moon. However, the thought that mr kok is marking our scripts simply scares me off and add on to my worries. Well, i will keep my fingers crossed.

Chinese
I could only say that it was A COMPLETE DISASTER! paper 1 was horrendously done and paper 2 at least 15 marks flew away as i left a few questions uncompleted =X I bet both the language papers wouldnt yield some aggregate higher than 4.. (sigh)

Mathematics
A and E Math are the only subjects that i can depend for this midyrs as i thought all 4 papers are relatively straightforward and manageable with the exceptions of 2-3 questions.

Chemistry
A total disapointment. I've screwed up both paper1 and 2. I have to say that paper1 was a test of speed of thinking as there are alot of questions required thinking and calculations. As my brain couldnt function as fast as it was required to, i didnt complete the paper, ending up guessing for 10 questions or so, hoping for the 25% chance that it would be correct. Paper2 was not much better. Certainly, more work and drilling has to be done over the june holidays to save my chem grades.

Physics
Paper1 was not much of a problem as i studied for it even though it was the last paper and i do not have the mood to study at all. Saving my paper2 was the main driving force behind this. Paper2 was chaotic. Every question on electricity looked like an alien to me. I recalled that there was this long question on a fish which can produce a current and the entire question is largely on calculations for current produced by fish in seawater, the temperature rise when 1 fish swims next to it if im not wrong. Failing to comprehend the question, i just threw it any values or data available into the formulas and derived my answer. lol. i would really have a great laugh if i could get that ques 50% correct.

Biology
I've made an extremely careless mistake for paper1. Although i was abit demoralised and disappointed with it, i managed to convince myself to be more optimistic by looking at this paper as only the midyears and it doesnt count towards the olevels. (self-contridiction) As for paper2, i have nothing much to say about it except the question that requires us to draw 3 curves in lousily printed grids.

SS
SBQ was decontextualised and i didnt complete it on time. Fortunately, the topic i selectively studied was tested for SEQ..

E geog
I DONT FEEL LIKE THINKING ABOUT IT. IT MAKES ME FUME. Due to my poor time management, i left 2 human geog questions half-done. i should have written lesser for questions on physical geog and spent more time doing the human geog questions. (moan)

Anyway, what is over is over. I cannot change the past but i can change the future. Turn disappointment into motivation. That's what singxuan told me and i thought it's pretty inspirational. Celest thinks that we would be receiving most of our papers tml and the first paper we would most probably be getting back is geog. oh no. let me sink into happiness for some more time. i dont want to be drenched with disappointment so soon..
