What a sultry and humid weather! Now that i have taken a cool shower, i feel refreshed (超爽) but a little worn out perhaps due to the fact that i didnt have sufficient rest lately. The intolerable weather sapped almost all of my energy but it has failed to dampen my spirits as i received my last 2 MYE papers.

My L1R5-8. My languages have pulled me down. It is always like that. I bet mdm sia/mrs lim would say "oh, your daughter has to put in more effort in her languages especially her english" to my dad during this friday's PTC.

Anyway, today, 20 May 2008, is DAPHNE'S 16TH BIRTHDAY. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRL! (:

Yesterday, celest, jy, lan and i celebrated daphne's birthday by going to East Coast Park after we had lunch at pastamania at Bugis Junction. I was v.regretful not trying out roller blading. Of course, there were several reasons which overshadowed my desire for roller blading.
1. There were too many cyclers and roller bladers.
2. I do not have any experience in roller blading.
3. IF (touchwood) anything unfortunate happens, i might not be able to do my physics olevel practical assessment this week.
However, i had fun cycling and had more fun when the five of us rested on a breakwater and unleashed. Enjoying the evening coastal scenery, the breeze was something everyone must not miss. We snapped a few photos for remembrance, hoping that this will not be our first and last outing at ECP as a clique. Jingying and celest have yet to send me the photos taken and hopefully, by then, i would have the time to upload them here.

Something interesting happened this morning and coincidently, it occurs on daphne, our birthday girl. Initially, i thought that daphne has fallen ill as i didnt see her from the morning assembly even to when we returned back to class. Then, during mdm sia's lesson when everyone was engaged in their own stuff, daphne walked in and i had a great laugh at her explanation as to why she was 1h+ late. Her dad's car broke down in the middle of the expressway, and as she couldnt flag for a taxi, she had to ask her relative to fetch her to school. (laughs, it sounds funny to me though it might not be so. well, i suspect there is something wrong with me nowadays as i have the tendency to laugh at something which is not really that funny)

Last but not least, how i wish i would have the luxury to fall into my deep beauty sleep. Lately, I have been getting into bed at around midnight(ok, it's considered quite late for me). Anyway, before my piano teacher starts berating me for not practising my piano and not completing my theory homework later on, i think i better get on with what im supposed to do! TIME TO GO! BYEBYE!
